I just recieved this capacitor in the mail http://www.massiveaudio.com/s ... 259&page=1 I was reading somewhere that I have to charge it before install. Can i just hook this up to my car battery charger ? What are the best way to charge these things ? All my final parts have arrived today the post office here was on strike for a while Ive been itching to get this mobile up and running.

The capacitor should of came with a resistor for charging it looks like a small light bulb.
1. The resistor will connect in series from the positive side of the cap to the positive terminal of the battery.

2. The negative side of the cap will connect directly to the negative terminal on the battery.

3. When the connections are made the resistor will glow very bright at first then will dim when it goes out the capacitor is charged.

btw, use caution if you have never worked around one of those! They can be dangerous when charged. I always keep electrical tape over the posts while transporting them to and fro.
