Welcome to the forum We could use a little more information. Are you using it as a base on a power supply or is it hooked up in your car?

It may be a cold solder joint or a bad cap, I would try a couple of the sponsors ,call or email, to see what they think and get an estimate for repairs. I think they would be your best bet, I don't trust any of the truck stop CB shops and am not sure if there are any in your area.
