I haven't owned a base or mobile CB very long, although I've talked on CB off and on since I was a kid in the 80s. My current stock consists of:

President Washington (Recently had a 1969 final installed, and had it aligned and tuned for better modulation.)
Galaxy DX 959 (I turned the pots up to improve AM & SSB power and modulation. Using it as a second base unit at home.)
Cobra 19 Ultra III (aka Underwhelming Power; I turned up the receive as strong as I could get it. The only unit I use in my vehicles.)

I've upgraded a bit since my last post. I now run the tuned Galaxy 959 and Palomar HD 250-FET in my truck with a Tram 3500 antenna.
The base is a stock Galaxy 2547 driving a Boomer Deluxe 400 on a Sirio 2012 mounted about 25' above the ground.
My wife's vehicle has a tuned Galaxy DX 979 with a Tram 3500 antenna.
I loaned the Cobra 19 Ultra III to my father in law, who has it and the Wilson Little Wil antenna in his vehicle.
I also loaned the President Washington and Sigma Venom 5/8 wave antenna to my father in law, but he doesn't have it set up yet.
