What Are These Frequencies?

So say I have a radio with a few extra channels. Where can I go to see what these channels are really suppose to be used for? Is there a web site that does a good job on this?

below channel 1 and above channel 40 is freebanding,,,alot of us talk on 26.915,,,which is way below channel 1 (26.965),,,freqs below channel 1 and above channel 40,,,,to 28.000 isn't assigned anything by the FCC,,,I have a Cobra 148 that goes from 26.515 to 27.855,,,has a Expo 100 Expander kit in it (L)
