Hello Mel72,
Welcome to the forum. Aries was good mic back in the day, excellent replacement, I'm hoping the wiring for that model is the same as the others. Give this a shot, I hope the colors are right, it has been a while since I've wired one.

1 - black and shield
2 - white
3 - red
4 - blue

Let me know if it works. As a new member I always ask if you would post a intro in the "Welcome to the Forum" topic, [Please login or register to view this link] , so others can say "Hello", thanks.

Thanks for the info.
I've never been on a forum before so please excuse me.
My wiring colour is shield, black, red, blue and yellow.
I presume the yellow would replace the white?
Thanks

I'm guessing my colors are wrong. In the cord the shield surrounds one wire, that is the audio lead. The shield goes on pin 1 and the audio on pin 2. Now to figure out the switching. A multimeter would be helpful here. One of the three wires is the ground for the switch, the others are the TX and RX. Once you figure out which is the ground it goes on pin 1 with the shield, then pin 3 is TX (transmit) and pin 4 is RX (receive).
