Skythumper 65DX
After alot of research a couple of mics seem to have come to the fore front on my quest for a new mic to replace my Cobra HG power mic. First off the Road King RK56 and the Astatic 636L. However, I just came across one called the Skythumper ST 65DX that got really good reviews. Has anyone used or have any experience with the Skythumper?

It's a RK 56 knock-off. Some people had good luck with them, however I wasn't that impressed with the one I had...
Do not argue with an idiot. He will drag you down to his level and beat you with experience.

I read somewhere it was using an "Electro Voice" element but can't find the article.

I would try the sky thumper knock off before buying a new road king 56. I like the old road king but the new ones don't sound good at all. The noise cancelling is not so good either.
The astatic 636 is a good mix if they haven't let their quality slip too. There really isn't a mic that works for everyone because our voices are all different.
