What Kind Do You Use
What kind of hanger or mic keeper do you use for your mic? The spring steel hook I use is too thick for my SRA-198 mic to hang on it. The mics circular "clip" does not have enough space for it to hang properly. The way my radio is mounted its a chore for me to reach out to get the mic on/off the supplied mic clip.

I have this because I didn't want to drill holes in the dash, KMH4-B Black CB Microphone Clip , and used the "Command Strips" on the back so it comes off easily.

Re: What Kind Do You Use
I use the cheap one from a truck stop. I peeled the included sticky back off and used a plastic epoxy to cement it to my dash. I did the same to a one of those command clip hooks and use that for my 2 meter microphone.
Needless to say I am not worried about the resale value.

Re: What Kind Do You Use
What I used in the motorhome was bought @ TA truck stop, called a gear keeper retractable mic holder. I hooked it to the sun visor bracket and was very easy to use. I hope this is what you were talking about, surprised no one mentioned it. JMHO,

Re: What Kind Do You Use
Thanks for all of the replies everybody I really appreciate it. I think that gear keeper or the KMH-4 adhesive backed one will suit my needs. I have an KMH-4 on order should be here in a few days, only cost me about $3.50 so I'll give it a whirl and see if it works, if not I'll try the gear keeper.

I also use a gear keeper and used the screw that was in the passenger visor bracket, works great for me. I have to give me wife credit, I was looking how to hang it and she points out to use the screw already there.
