JCD-201M wiring for Uniden Grant XL

Does anyone know the wiring for the JCD-201M for a Uniden Grant XL? There is VERY little info on wiring for this mic.

Here is the wiring on the 8 pin socket on the back of the mic, both are this way, BTW the wiring diagram in the manual is wrong.
1 (E) Shield – Ground
2 (M) Brown – Mic audio
3 (P) White – Ground
4 (G) Green – PTT +
5 (U) Black – UP
6 (D) Yellow – DOWN
7 (C) Blue – UP/DOWN Ground
8 (B) Red – 5-9 VDC power +
Now the problem is it won't be able to wire to a Uniden Grant XL (5 pin mic). It is designed for ham radios or a CB radio that has relay switching on the transmit. The way to check that is to unplug the existing microphone, if the radio doesn't recieve (the speaker goes blank) it won't work. Sorry to give you the bad news.

I believe it would work on any of the Ranger RCI models, most of the Galaxy models too, and of course, ham radios.
