bought the whistler tx1. its amazing. it picks up everything. and its software
controlled :cheers: to customise what you want in the scanner. i like it

The is a nice scanner, I've played with one at the local sound store (they just don't carry anything that transmits), TRX-1 Digital Scanner Radio - Handheld. I was surprised on how easy it was to program but the cost is just not in my budget. I would get at least a 2gb microSD card to keep your programing safe and it can be used to record on as well.

it comes with a microsd card. you can put up to a 32g one in it.
i have a couple 32 gig sd cards laying around. yes the price on this thing is insane. hopefully the price will drop.
i paid 550.00 for the complete package scanner 4 rechargeable batteries and usb charging plug. so far i love it. hands down the best scanner i ever had
