Cobra 200 Talk Back
Cobra 200 Talk Back
I was going to have my Cobra 200 talk back put on an on off switch. I was wondering if anyone had done this, and if it were a difficult job. Any specifics appreciated. If no one knows, I guess I'll just pay the man
Also with the channel conversion, it's disables the +10 khz, so can I use this switch as an on off switch? Would it make any difference to remove the wires currently going to it?
Thanks!

Boards on the Cobra 150/200's are hard to work on, because items on the boards are so small, I have installed talkback on the older 200GTL's, but the factory installed is probably about the same as Cobra had a tech bulletin on Talkback,,PM me with an emal address and I'll send you the tech bulletin and you can check and see if you think its worth doing on your own

I WAS AT A LOCAL CB SHOP LAST WEEK & I ASK ABOUT THE COBRA 200'S & FIRST THING THAT CAME OUT OF HIS MOUTH WAS COBRA SENT A MEMO OUT TO DEALERS ABOUT INSTALLING TALKBACK, AND FROM I COULD UNDERSTAND IS YOU HAVE PUT EITHER A DIODE OR TRANSISTOR NOT SURE WHICH & HE DID SAY THERE NOT THE EASIEST TO WORK ON. DON'T QUOTE ME ON THIS BECAUSE I MAY HAVE MISUNDERSTOOD WHAT HE WAS SAYING.
