I have a galaxy 55hp the guy told me he dropped the frequency counter want change when you turn the channel selecter knob but the channel display will change thank you

Okay, that is the mixer frequency, first check all the plugs to the main board to see if they are plugged in tight and the right way, if good then it's searching for a cold solder joint or broken trace, possibly the board cracked as well. Is the radio transmitting and receiving fine?

it will transisment about 20 watts but you can hear a bunch of noise thats it

I had one to do the same thing. look for a solder joint tha could be crossed or one that's not sordered good
