Magnum s9 recieve only threw external

hello folks been awhile, my s9 is acting up I only have recieve through my external speaker I double checked my mic on another radio and its fine . Im at a loss here

On just about all radios the external speaker jack is like a switch to disconnect the internal speaker, make sure when the external speaker plug is removed the jack is making contact. I have over the years seen the tip of a stereo plug broken and left inside the jack causing this same problem.
