Is AMC your dead key adjustment?

#389618

Post by LocomtvBreth »

I have a RoadAlert RA400 I want to eventually run into an RM ITaly KL203 or similar. I can only find one PDF [Please login or register to view this link].

Is the RV3-AMC what I am looking to turn down for a 2W DK?

Thanks.

AMC stands for "Amplification of the Modulation Circuit", all it does is control the modulation. To detune the radio you will have to play with the coils like it says on the link you shown. When doing it start with channel 19, collapse the coils slightly and measure the wattage, then check both channel 1 and 40 to balance it out.
