Hi Guys,
Here is the plan, I want to install a 7pin din jack on the back of my 2995Dx to use a Icom interface cord to a Ameritron ARB-704. Then I could run any ham amplifier on the market. I already have;
And of course the amp.
The 12v power source will be the same as running the fan on the back heat sink. The key source is the yellow wire at J113, it has +/-5v+ when keyed and 0v unkeyed, the negative or ground will be the chassis. This will work with the ARB-704.The interesting part is going to be figuring out where to connect the ALC so I can adjust this from the radio.
Looking for some help!?
