I want to channel mod a cobra 29ltd and a few other am cb radios that need to be modded with a crystal injector board.

Would anyone out there have a schematic to make a 2 or 3 xtal injector board and the schematic and parts list.

Much appreciated for the help

Price wise if you have to buy the xtals you probably be better off get a Lescom board.Easy to install and gives you 40 up and 40 down.Just a thought.
All radios tuned by the best me.

this should work for you. they have the full schematic and install instructions for free. cant beat that. you can buy the pc board from them with detailed plans for $12. [Please login or register to view this link]

Thanks for the reply. I know have the Expo 100 A kit wit 40 up and 40 down I have the pc boards made and was able to locate xtals for the kits.

Also had the expander 240 and 160 boards made.

I aslo had the Expo 100 S+ and S- boards made waiting on the xtals for these.

The Xtals are very hard to get and have made. Most Chinese Companies minium 1000-2000 xtals per frequency they have the best price. US companies i checked want 20$-$30 dollars a xtal with 500 minimum got a quote of $4660.00 from Crystek my answer was no.

So i had 100 boards made for know to see how things go can have more if people want to add channels to their radios.

I will also be supporting the pll 8719 chip with kits for them. Some people just dont want to mod the pll but will add a switch kit with the expander 240 board. Any inf needed please ask
