Hi All, I have just expanded the TX on the 450D, all worked out fine and reset successful. When I turned back on the volume is now really low,does any kind person have any ideas? Thanks for the help. Appreciated. :)

I would open it back up and make sure you didn't crush the speaker wires to start. Next which reset did you complete, memory, function, or full, full should reset the radio to default settings.

Hi Greg, I have checked speaker wires,all ok, I done a full reset but audio still low, I dont know what else to do,pretty annoying really. Thanks for your reply, 73s

I called Yaesu tech support and they were very helpful with my FTM400 regarding a programming issue. I would give them a call and see if they can trouble shoot over the phone. Tell them you did a MARS mod. Most likely they have dealt with this issue in the past. (714)827-7600

what frequency are you on. antenna may not be swr friendly.
if your on 10 meters and you have a 11meter antenna could be the problem

i think ill keep the 450d in the house
