Hello,

New to the group, Thanks!

My Rig is a Ranger RCI-2980wx.
Up until yesterday it was working great!
Now when i turn the radio on, this display does not light up and I cannot transmit more that .5 watt.
It seems to hear fine but Ithink the voltage supply to the display and PA have disappeared.
Has anyone else experienced this? I will be searching for a schematic and try to troubleshoot the problem.

Thanks for the add

Sincerely,

Emilio

I think you have a power supply problem, I am surprised it still has any functions working. I think that model was still using a linear type supply so I'd check the regulator board and the capacitors first. Whatever you do stop using it, it will only make matters worse.
