I’ve been talking with Al a few times last week, about the Galaxy DX 979 radio & microphone. Finally on Thursday, I called him and put in an order for the Galaxy DX 979 and asked if was okay to pick it up. So I drove down to Westville from Chicago to pick it up. Well today Al had it ready for me and he hooked it up and explained the features of the Galaxy radio (I’m still new to the CB world) and the new microphone a SkyThumper ST-65DX. What a world of difference from a Cobra 29LTD Dale Earnhardt Jr. CB Radio. It’s night and day; on the way back to Chicago could not believe my ears what great radio nice and loud. Al was very helpful with my purchase and a great Gentleman to talk to, he really knows his stuff.
