Not sure who the builder is but it's just a Palomar clone. Normally they are a single transistor, (MRF455 or SD1446) could be any other transistor they could get to work as well.

I have one that needs a transistor but don’t know witch way the transistor goes in it did not have one in it when I got it thank you

If I remember the most popular transistor is the MRF455, as far as placement there is only 2 ways to set the transistor because of the mounting, usually it is placed that you can read the markings looking straight down inside.
