It's a general coverage receiver unless your licensed, I'd be careful about wandering off 11m.
Here are some videos of some issues others have had with that model.

After reading a bit more I decide not to buy it, I'm looking at newer radio for my base station, now I have the CRE8900 but I would like to install it in my truck and put something else as a base station, any recommendation?

The 767 wasn't a bad radio in it's day but they are getting old (like us) and things start going bad (like us). I'd save the 300 and keep adding to it for something more modern.

So that's a 10m radio, what bands are you looking to communicate in?
Thanks,

Here is a little insight on the radio in question;
The 6m, 2m, and 70cm makes it a plus in the ham world, because it has a general coverage receiver it is easily adapted to transmit on the radios entire spectrum.The Yaesu FT-767GX is a 100 watt HF transceiver covering 160 to 10 meters amateur bands plus it includes a triple conversion general coverage receiver that tunes from 100 kHz to 30000 kHz. But the story does not end here. The FT-767GX is designed to accept additional, optional band modules for coverage of the key amateur bands above 30 MHz including 6 meters, 2 meters and 70 cm. The FT-767GX even includes a built in HF antenna tuner. Other advanced features include: IF shift, Notch, Electronic Keyer, Squelch, QSK, dual VFOs, Noise Blanker, Attenuator, Passband Tuning and memories. This radio operates from 100/110/117/200/220/240 VAC. (368x129x295mm 15.5 kg). Supplied with MH-1B8 hand mic.

That's what was interesting about that radio the possibility to go on the Ham side, if I eventually pass my license to become a Ham radio operator.MDYoungblood wrote: ↑Jun 21 2019, 15:27Here is a little insight on the radio in question;The 6m, 2m, and 70cm makes it a plus in the ham world, because it has a general coverage receiver it is easily adapted to transmit on the radios entire spectrum.The Yaesu FT-767GX is a 100 watt HF transceiver covering 160 to 10 meters amateur bands plus it includes a triple conversion general coverage receiver that tunes from 100 kHz to 30000 kHz. On the other side my felling toward a 40 years old radio that as many owner was kind of deal breaker.

I was 61 when I got my ham ticket for the second time, let the first time expire for lack of interest back in 1970.

I started the course in the 90's, but the Ham and CB hobby was going down the road so I never finish it.MDYoungblood wrote: ↑Jun 21 2019, 17:21 I was 61 when I got my ham ticket for the second time, let the first time expire for lack of interest back in 1970.

I was referring to the CRE8900 being a 10m radio, not the yaesu.

The CRE 8900 is a nice radio too for what they were worth, had good modulation, on frequency right out of the box and most adjustments could be done in the menu or computer program. Don't know if they can be gotten anymore, haven't seen any for sale locally.
