Mobile mic
What do you think of the Astatic D104M6B mic?
Re: Mobile mic
It's a very good mic. I myself use the Superstar DM-1000 Tornado. It's a power/echo mic. No complaints here, or from people i talk to.

Re: Mobile mic
They are manufactured in China,, to me that is it's only downfall. They made a slight improvement over the original D104M in the circuitry and did away with the old 7v battery which was even a pain back when they were cheap. The Red Devil shares the same circuitry and like said is noise cancelling.

I've been using 2018 Extreme for rf limited. I also like my road devil until the cord disintegrated. The old Turner RK 70? Is my backup.

Re: Mobile mic
I agree with 295. The noise cancelling is best.
The old handheld D-104 was better.
The new M6b doesn't cut in my book.
JMHO.

Mike

Re: Mobile mic
I use a 20 plus year old Road Devil ( Black Housing) on my Uniden 520xl in my pickup. Works great. All my other mics are original RK56’s and I still have a few brand new in the box from 20 years ago. The original RKs are great sounding mics.
