A quality adjustable amp??
I have a Uniden 980ssb that I bought from **Non Sponsor**, and had the "high performance tune-up", that I'm using as a base. Road Devil mic.
Have a Maco Alpha V 5/8 antenna.
If I were to buy an amp I'd like to have one with an adjustable output so I can transmit just what I need to get the job done.
Of course one that will work well with this radio.
And a quality amp that won't make this radio sound like crap or hurt the radio.
From you guys experience, what do you think?

Re: A quality adjustable amp??
Just get one that does the amount of power you want and be done with it...Variables tend to be the first thing to screw-up on amps that has them...another option would be a amp that has a HI-LOW switch, but then again, this is something that makes absolutely no since to me to have...
"If ya got it...run it!"

An amp with 4 x4-400s should do it. All kidding aside the first 100 watts is the most important.

**Non Sponsor** (he's on fb) for custom built box's...(prices about the same as any other box)
Texas Star has always been a reliable production amp (would need to be converted for 11 meter tho)
**Non Sponsor** would be another builder worth checking out on fb...He use to own and build **Censor** amps, then sold out to someone else who basically killed the brand...But **Non Sponsor** back building again just not putting the **Censor** name on the boxs.
