We had a sponsor years ago that was into the radios for bike, not sure if he is still in business. For the price tag this radio has I think I'd leave it alone. Not sure what mods you are looking for.

I picked one up for less than a cobra 25. looking for any info. Google didn't help any

Pop the thing open and see which PLL is in it. Other things like the modulation pot will be guess work. I wouldn't mess with wattage, it's design is probably like a HT, will handle a high SWR without smoking.

Found a post on another forum and a guy said JM recommended a Midland handy talkie if you couldn't afford the JM. Wondering if thats because thats whats in the jm. And it still is a wild guess until I see the thing lol.

I think it was recommended because in my search I saw someone made a mount for the Midland 75-822.
