My mobile is back in action. They took away our company vehicles so I've got all my stuff back in my personal truck.

Currently looking for a Texas Star Sweet Sixteen or possibly having CarlBuilt build me a Straight 6 Pill.

Covington, La. About 2 miles north of Abita Springs.

Cobra 142. Always trying different homemade antennas.

Talking on a center fed dipole sloper with the highest end about 60' above the ground right now.

Taking down my 8' X 8' X 50' wooden tower. Built it with that "yellow wood" crap and it is going bad now after just 8 years. My last tower with treated green wood lasted 40 years. Afraid I'm way too old to build another one.

I listen more than I talk. And when I talk it is usually to check out a new kinda antenna.

Usually on 20 AM, 38LSB for skip.
