Protecting Metal grounds from rust

#393734

Post by uniden1 »

I made a 102" whip pickup bed stake mount. What do I use to protect the metal to metal contact points? Will bulb grease work and will it give me good connections?

Bulb grease? Yes any kind of dielectric grease will work, SS hardware is the best to stop rust.

I have had good results using general automotive graphite grease.....It's good for anything bolted that becomes exposed to the weather related....
