SWR low then suddenly High?!
SWR low then suddenly High?!
A few weeks ago i checked my SWRs. There were around 1.1 across the board. Today I went to check them again and they are up around 1.4-1.5! What would cause this? would changes in the atmosphere have this effect (Perhaps even the humidity in Florida)? I'm at a loss. Thanks!

If you were parked next to anything that would goof with SWR. (pole, tree, building, etc)
Damaged or cheap coax or connectors.
Moisture, and junk in the whip spring, perhaps?
I would count SWR, on a 102" whip, as pretty good.
Could you possibly, switch to a Predator 10K, improve your performance, and experience "dead needle" SWR....flat is a beautiful thing!
