Need New Antenna Information

#404888

Post by FLShooter »

I have a Solarcon Antron 99 and it is working well.
I have a chance to get a Solarcon I-MAX 2000.
The question is what could I expect with the I-Max 2000?
Would my signal be stronger, on receive and send?
I'm talking no Amp.?

There is really no significant difference between these antennas.
Something like a Maco 5/8 would be slightly better.

You would possibly see a slight gain on both receive and transmit but not in an amount worth changing antennas. The only way I would do it is if the A99 went bad for some reason.
