Anytone 5555n software

I searched this topic for this and didn't find anything on it, and since you "modify" the radio with it, I started a thread. Please delete if not allowed.

Here's a link to the Anytone 5555n software. You will need their cable to upload (connects directly to the board) it's available on Amazon and eBay and is 2 pieces so you can leave a tail hanging out of the radio if you make frequent changes. This link does not take you to a site, it is the software and must be uploaded from a PC, your phone will not work.

If this doesn't work, feel free to email me at youregonnasendmecrap@gmail.com and I'll forward you the link

Good info.
I just ordered one 3 weeks ago, a USA seller but ships from the far east, I'll have to be patient. I ordered a programing cable as well to add to my collection.

Great radio. If you need anything once you get it, shoot me a message. I'll be happy to help.

Thanks, I'm good, been in radios for near 60 years. The conversion mod is just a solder bridge and a touch increase on the modulation pot is all it needs. I've had good luck with the Anytone AT-6666, the AT-5555n is larger and less wattage, interested in comparing the two.

My 5555 ran a lot cooler than my 6666. I didn't like the mic jack on the 5555, and it was my only complaint about the radio aside from the buttons not being lit. I wired a old Bearcat mic for it with the cat5 end, but found the stock mic on the 6666 got the best feedback from contacts. I have fat fingers, so the inner rings on the 6666 took some getting used to. I hope you enjoy it. I like them both for their own reasons.
