To tell you the truth I believe they aren't made anymore, internet electronic suppliers might have a few but best bets are flea markets, yard sales, and hamfest for those dead Cobra 25's and 29's as parts radios.

I agree with Greg, the only place you're going to find those IC's anymore is in junk radios.

Howdy, you mean that I have to destroy this radio, or **Censored** can it for a 3 to 5 dollar part? That is a crock of crap, the radio is like brand new, and I have to can it just for a stupid Audio Amp, I am going to be sick, and I am going to take this down thw hill by me and get out my 30-06 hunting rifle and nail this **Censored** with about 4 rounds,,to be continued. First thing, you need to curb the attitude and language, it is not needed on the forum.

I answered the question to the best of my knowledge, that part is out there, search for it, if the radio is pristine then it is worth the time looking. Plenty of junk radios out in the world, if I had one in my stash I would gladly send you the chip. If you aren't satisfied with this answer then please just use a 9mm since 30-06 are quite expensive these days.
