Just looking for some suggestions on a b biased amp for ssb. Its for a base setup. I know there are a lot of builders out there, looking for something clean. Who do you recommend? - thanks Treefarmer

If you can find one...Palomar 300A tube amps work great on ssb...and am.

I use one with my Cobra 2000 GTL and get great reports...Been talking to guys in Australia and Hawaii on 38lsb with it and all of them say I sound like I'm sitting in their driveways! :-D

seeing just under 1000w on ssb with the 300A and cobra 2000.

Thanks, Jesse! Guessing that amp is AC current too. I’ll keep me eyes open. I’ve got a beam to put up and want to maximize the potential!
Happy Thanksgiving to you....waving from the northeast 👍

Yep..AC 110v...just plug and play.

Usually you can find them around the $300+ mark on ebay in working order...tubes can get a bit pricy, but if you treat it right, they will last forever.

Copy on the 110 AC. I wouldn’t have to buy a larger power supply, I like that! 😁
