Is it bad to open the modulation on my cobra 25 Ltd. it was given to me and I saw that people seem to like to do this. Does it really help or does it cause a dirty transmit?

Hi there bit of an older post now. Not sure if you got answers to your question. My opinion, open fully internally then use the dynamic knob for adjusting. Hey it's gonna sound ok regardless man, Also wont need a power mic. Have fun with it.
