Galaxy 2547 clarifier mods

Been looking at the clarifier mod for the galaxy dx 2547 on CB World informer and where it says to place jumpers was wondering if the jumper goes on after removing the component, or the component remains in place and the jumper is just added over it? little bit confused on that part. anyone out there done this mod before?

You remove the resistor at R113 and diode at D68. Then install the jumper.

The mod is the same as the 959/949 models. Use the forum's search to find the mod and some even have pics.
