Anytone 6666
Hello everyone, I just installed an Anytone 6666. The only issue is when I turn it on, it sounds like it will blow the speaker with feedback for one second, even with the sound turned down. Any ideas?

Sounds like a talkback problem. Was there any other mods done? There is an old YouTube showing how to adjust it.

I don't have an issue when I talk. The only issue is the moment that the unit is powered on. When I turn it on, the unit sends a loud noise through the speaker for about one second then the entire unit works as it should. I don't know what to do. This happens without the mic being cued.

Using the menu, turn off everything like the roger beep, talkback, etc., see if the problem goes away, if it does then turn what you like back on one at a time to find which is the problem.
