Just picked the two radios up. Not sure they even work? Pretty cool Midland with a battery pack.

I've seen one like that Midland before. Probably same model. IIRC it uses a bunch of AA batteries in the top, and operates as a portable radio with a built-in telescopic antenna. Not sure how many batteries it takes but I assume enough to make 12V, so I guess 8 of them.
