Sharing power between 2 xmitters?
Is there an issue running a Cobra 25 and a FRS/GMRS off the same power wires? I already have the 25 wired in, and want to install a GMRS, so would it cause issues to just tap into the power wires to the 25? They run directly to the battery.

Well @Cutlass327 , imagine your CB radio and GMRS radio sharing power wires – it's like throwing a birthday party and inviting both clowns and magicians, but they end up arguing over who gets the spotlight.
One's trying to honk its horn, and the other's pulling rabbits out of hats!
To avoid this circus, give each radio its own power source so they can perform their radio magic without any clowning around!

Ok. I know I wouldn't be TX on both at one time, I just didn't know if it'd cause "backfeed" type issues with the one on RX.

It is best for each radio to have its own power leads, that being said, since you’re saying both radios won’t be on at the same time there shouldn’t be a problem. Even both receiving at the same time wouldn’t be a problem, it’s when one is keyed things start to happen.
With the GMRS being FM and on 462/467 mhz, neither will interfere with the other. I ran a 2m radio and a high powered CB with no problem (wired separately though).
