Re: 73 vs 73's
Hey..
The correct term is 73..
Making any of these numbers plural such as 73’ and 88’s is incorrect since they are already plural.

Not the same.. They would like for one to accept them as the same but they are not..
It would be more like What's up's.. ♠W.G.

Clowning Around with Radio Lingo: 73 vs. 73's
Greetings, my fellow radio jesters!
In the wacky world of ham and CB radio chatter, the number "73" isn't just a number; it's your ticket to a chuckle and a grin. It's like giving a radio high-five with confetti cannons, signifying "Best Wishes" or "Best Regards." Imagine a tiny clown horn tooting as you say it!
But hold on to your oversized shoes, because here comes "73's"!
"73's" is like juggling extra rubber chickens in your radio banter. It doesn't change the main act, but it's a quirky way of saying, "I'm sending all the best wishes from my clown car in the radio circus!"
So, whether you're clowning around with "73" or putting on a big top show with "73's," remember, it's your way of spreading laughter through the airwaves!

Re: 73 vs 73's
73 is a ham op’s term, CB’ers use the 73’s, I’ve been heard saying it as well. On the forum I text “3’s” when ending a post. It basically is anyway you want to do it, there is no right or wrong.

If 73 means "best wishes" or "best regards," then 73's would mean "best wisheses" or "best regardses."
