HEX BEAM ON 11 METERS

I spoke with one of the Hex Beam Companies and they said that they don't cut the band for 11 meters because it messes up the tuning for 12 and 10 meter bands which has a 1:1 SWR. He said to get around it, don't order the 10/12 meter band and cut the wires for 11 meters and make it a stand alone which is a single band Hex beam. It sounds like it would be cheaper to make a home brew Hex Beam. Now personally, I already put a tuner on my Hex beam and matched it to 1:1. It worked great shooting a the breeze to a mud duck in Texas on 12 watts with my Uniden Washington.
