Swr meter help
I need some help. I just ordered a micronta 21-523 SWR meter off of eBay. I hooked it up to two of my CBs. I calibrated it just like normal switched to SWR and it still was in calibrate mode. How do I fix the issue or can I fix the issue?

Re: Swr meter help
It could be that the SWR switch has corrosion build up on the contact terminals. Sometimes flicking the switch back and forth will break up some of the corrosion enough to get it to work. However, if it does have corrosion build up, the adjustment knob might be affected as well. The same trick might work for the knob, turn it back and forth over and over to try and get through that corrosion.
Open the thing up and check the switch, knob and circuits. Look for anything that is dirty or doesn't look right.
It could be an easy fix, but it could also be to much of a hassle.

Should have read this post first, I gave the same concussion as danoj77 on your other post about the same thing. I use DeoxIT D5 on contacts that need some attention.
