Simple to construct CB antenna with 9dBi of Gain
Inexpensive antenna to construct with low angle radiation for DX and ground wave. Use 9 feet of 300 ohm transmission line from the antenna feed point

That sounds great! Can you run the numbers on the resonate frequency of 28.4 MHz ? See if there is a nice overlap into 27 mhz and see how the SWR''S stretch out to 26.965? Thanks.
