Jumper length for in-line SWR meter?

#43806

Post by muthatrucker530 »

Well, just got back from getting the new Will 1000 to replace the one that someone needed more than I did. As I was setting the SWR, I wondered if there is a recommended/standard length for the jumper used. As of now I'm running a 3 footer.

And to add to that, just ensure its 3 foot increments (incase you were to ever get coax without connectors to put them on yourself or anyone else reading this post for that matter).

Some swear by 9 foot increments, but so long as its 3 ft at a time..

muthatrucker530 how do you like that 4600 turbo? Just ordered one from RA last week for my son's truck.

I love it. Best radio I have owned. Consider your son a very lucky guy.
