Hi all
Well I just got off the phone with Mike at Radio Active Radios and I ordered me a SWP General Lee with the Astatic 636 mic for the big Truck. The guy knows his radios. Don't know what I'm gona do with FM but why not. LOL The Galaxy 959 is going to replace my old TRC449 in the Powerstroke.
I just talked with Bozo on the phone what a nice guy, he gets a two thumbs up from me on this site and others. Just hope I can do more to help him out. Keep up the great work Bozo.

Did you add the variable talkback?
If you might do a DaveMade amp in the future, you might request the extra low deadkey on low power to accommodate.
It's really great to get comparisons from experienced radio users.

Yeah, the only thing is as a driver only expect answers from other big radios. Everyday I tell a driver he's clear or come back over and only ones that seem to come back have loud radios. Or if your giving out info. about a bear or the scale being open or closed. I just laugh when they don't answer me because I know how good that radio sounds I've heard my own while I was on my uniden in the house and my daughter was talking on the "General". It is very clear and very "LOUD"

I don't know what mike will do to the radio. I told him What i wanted it for and he said he'd take care of me.
Yeah my walk around phone batt died sorry about that mike.lol
Right now I'm on the road for about 5 weeks making them coins in the big truck will be home by Xmas. Will get the radio in then. Can't wait till i get it.
