trucks a good deal if the tranny is new then you should be set/ about 150000 when those go out so you should be set. The motors run much longer

I agree that that is a good deal... especially since you said the tranny is new (typically they go out around the 150k mark. The 1500 and 2500 both have the 350/5.7L engines in 'em. I've heard of many going WEELLLLL past the 200-300k mark.

Also, I don't think your Toyota wheels will mate up. I could be wrong, but the 4x4 trucks run with a 6 on 5.5" bolt circle.

for 135000 and a new tranny i would ask when the tranny was replaced. and as far as the 350 goes yah it will last you a while i have an 88 Chevy with about 330000 on it and she still runs good. she just don't hold much oil pressure. but back to the tranny. i would ask when it was used for since the tranny went already. i haven't herd of 150000 miles a tranny going out i have usually encountered that they have lasted at least 200000, unless it has been used to pull heavy cargo. and in that case if it has i would pull the plugs before you buy it and check to make sure they not covered in oil. if they are then you have bad rings, in that case you would be looking at, the minimum a RE-ring job but most likely a complete rebuild. just my 2 cents worth.
