Today I noticed that my freq counter would jump form lets say 27.1651 to 27.1652 and 27.1653 depending where I was driving. Around town it stays at .1651, out in the country it jumps up. Its the new blue read out. Looks cool at night. What the deal with that?????
Some of the pll chips vary in accuracy depending on temperature and how long the radio has been on; maybe it's that, I dunno, never seen that before.....
I don't know, I went from a lip mount Will 1000 to a drill a 3/4" whole in my trunk and mounted it that way. No channel jump what so ever. What do ya think about that?
Mutha, those are not much of a jump. It could be temperarture related (winter/summer), but on AM, those are very insignificant. Don't lose any sleep over it.
