How To Wire CB?
How To Wire CB?
I have no clue when it comes to Electrical work, so I need your help with this one. How does the red wire end as pictured
connect to the connector I guess it is, in the fuse box? and how do I wire the black wire end to the chassis as a ground?
Thanks

Red - Positive
Black - Ground
99.9% of the time (havent seen a positive grounded vehicle in quite some time) you can connect the black to chassis/ground and the red/positive to your fuse box, in many cases anymore, manufacturers are placing a blade type of connector that supplies an unfused (to a point because it really is fused by the main fuse but the amperage is so high might as well call it unfused) positive connection upon "ACC" or also known as switched positive.
If any of that looses you even just a LITTLE bit, I would recommend drawing a wire from the positive terminal of your battery to inside the vehicle to supply a positive source (but know this source would ALWAYS be "hot"/on thus if you leave your radio on you could drain your battery depending upon how long you dont drive it).

How To Wire CB to battery
I wire my radio and amp to a KC light relay 30 amp relay to the battery and use key swith in truck to control it all. when you start your truck or car every thing is on turn it off every thing is off don't have remember to radio& off.
Ps at my age it works. LOL

As small as that radio appears to be, I'd simply get a cigarette lighter power adapter plug, match the colors, and use wire nuts.
If you want high performance CB radio, you may want to return that one. I did one that looked like that once. If you just want to listen, and only talk very little, it may be OK.
What are you planning to do, and what kind of radio is that?
