hello to all my CB-HAM friends..its just a lil story about what happens here in hawaii at my house...I have a lady that lives 2 houses away
she's always on the phone in the street! yes in the street well sitting on the curb talking away now i dont know if she is hiding her call from her ol man but this lady walks with the phone up and down the road talking sometimes 6hours so i start to key down on my base barefoot now she comes runnnig to house yelling! for me to get of my radio so i tell her lady
you been on the phone all day why cant i have some airtime too she starts yelling F-u you are sick man i tell her no am a good man she's thai by theway well we just had a big earthquake 6.5 well when it happen we had all the power go out and the phones got jam i was the only one with news. so here i am in my truck talking to CD and getting news when the lady comes runing over telling me to turn up the VOL so she can hear i fell over LOL..she yelling am sorry am sorry.....
Tell her to buy a new phone. Don't buy it for her either! You start that and before you know it any neighbor with any kind of interferrence (your fault or not) will expect the same. I'd lay odds the problem will go away. Oh, and make sure your system is grounded well...and maybe throw in a good quality lowpass filter just for good measure. Just a couple thoughts.

I've raised my kids to never judge anyone by race, religion or origin, but, never lose sight of the fact that an a..hole is an a..hole and should be treated accordingly.
