GE Superbase has the PLLO2A ,,,you can add a lot of channels
Don't do if you are not sure

Here it is:

This mod only requires 2 switches, some thin
wire, some good electrical solder, a 25 watt iron, and
a sharp pocket-knife for cutting through the foil
traces.
IN the drawing, the thick green
lines are the 2 foil traces that must be cut through
(this takes a while, be patient and make sure you've
cut completly through) This is done to isolate pins
9 and 10 of the pll02a chip.

Notice the +5 volt source in the picture
and drawing. Check with a voltmeter to
verify that you have a +5 volt source,
and check to see that it shows
5 volts on all 40 channels!

Now just solder the wire to the traces
and the switches and you're done!

Road map:
Switch 1 on= 64 channels down on channels 10-38
Switch 2 on= 32 channels up on channels 10-38
Both switches on= 32 channels down on 10-38
Channel 3A= both switches on, channel 31
Channel 7A= both switches on, channel 36

Oh man that made me think about in time mid 70's I just paid over $400.00 for a new SBE. A guy gave me instructions oh how to modify the PLL to get upper and lowers. Looked easy enough. WRONG! That radio was less than 30 days old and never worked again. :(
Good shops get all my work now. I am happy to have found RA.
