HELP!?!?!?!?!

#51115

Post by 316 »

I have a 40 foot tower,100 ft of coax, and a Maco Sigma V5/8 that has to go on a pole in between the antenna and the tower.
Should I run guide wires?
How much cement should I use?
And it will have a bracket about 20' up against the house.

40' i would say no you dont need to run guide wires you have it bracket 20' to the house i self would 2x2 hole and fill it with cement and run rebar in it and fasen you bottom part of the tower to it or a 2x2 hole put the bottom part of the tower in the hole and cement it in that way

That's what I was think only 2' wide and 36' deep , but I was wondering about the rebar? how should that be driven and what about grounding it?
This is my first Tower, everything before this rig has been poles, plumbing strap and coax. So I really have no idea.
Thanks for the input Thumper.
