Anybody know if you can take an i-pod on an airplane? I know they really tightened up security (with good reason ) and don't really wanna take it and have to leave it in the baggage.
You can take it... they just make you turn it off during takeoff's and landing's so you can hear instruction from the stewardess.... it's the steak knife in your boot that might get ya...
Thanks for the info. I understand that they need to keep the planes secure, what with these crazies putting together weapons on the planes, but it seems to me that it kinda went overboard. But... I guess I'm not runnin' the show, so......it's their way or the hiway.

It's only "overboard" in the U.S. The Japanese guys I work with don't have to go through all the security we do when flying in and out of Japan.
