connex wiring to truck

I have a connex 3300 hp. i drive a big truck (freightliner) the truck came with a power and ground wire to hook up the radio. Should i wire it straight to the battery? What is the best way to be grounded? How do i make sure my antanna is grounded right? thanks so much for the help..
