Looking for a "small" radio

#51463

Post by Shaft »

Hey Guys,

I just ordered a SWP General Lee from Radioactive, but I'm also looking for a small radio to put in my company car. Anybody recommend anything for me? I'm looking for something simple. I've got a mag mount antenna already.

I bought a package from K40 a few years back for my dad that included an antenna and radio. The radio was similar to a Cobra 19.

A Cobra 18 looks interesting because of the front mic input and front speaker.

+1 on the mini mag

30+ watts, and hundreds of channels, out of a radio that is just a tad bigger than a Blackberry

GOTTA LOVE IT

The Cobra 19 DXIV, is a nice little CB Radio. Just has the basic 40 channels, but can be peaked & tuned for more watts. Easy to use. About $45.

One note: "STAY AWAY FROM THE COBRA 18!" Worst radio Cobra ever came out with!

The little 19 is a neat rig.
If I remeber correctly it's all digital and very compact too.
